Character Background
The Tradesman is well known among the other beings of the Kittyverse. As he owns his own store, where he sells artifacts, arnamalious trinkets, and mythical doodads to any and all who are willing to trade. But most important of all, is what he trades for his many unique, strange artifacts, alien tickents, and abnormal doodads, as he will only trade his items for memories. But not any memories, as he strongly prefers memories of painful experiences or traumatic events.
The Tradesman is a tall, lanky humanoid who controls his own mini-dimension that is the entirety of his store. It's a small antique-looking store with two rows of double shelves filled with small trinkets and doodads. On the south wall are strange alien plants, and the entrance is in the far left corner. The right wall is filled with weapons and magical tools, while the left wall has potions and liquid concoctions of various sizes and colors. At the front of the store is the glass counter, containing small treats and alien candies, with the front wall holding small boxes of various smokes and chemicals.
To enter this realm/store, a door will appear for the invited guest, and they can choose to enter or not. After someone has been into his store and shows promise as a future customer, the Tradesman gives them the ability to call a door to enter his store when they choose.
The Tradesman is also known to give first-time shoppers a free small item, usually a candy, cards, or even one small pack of cigarettes.
The Tradesman cares little for the politics or social events among the other entities of the Kittyverse. As he would rather acquire new items for his store to sell, to those willing to trade their memories for what he has to sell.
The Tradesman knows of the Subspace Emessarie, and he keeps his store's base location within them. As he regularly trades with many entities in the Subspace Emessarie.
The Tradesman often has an imposing aura and presence when he first meets others. But he will adjust his size and posture to match his patron, helping them feel more comfortable in his store. He talks in with an almost ghostly voice, as his voices echo in his store, as if they were talking at once.
But the Tradesman cares primarily about selling his items to others and giving advice on how best to use them. He takes pride in his ability to provide customer satisfaction.
