Crimson Turtle

It appeared only once in Chapter 135 of the original To Love-Ru manga, titled "Trouble Game 3". In that chapter, Momo and Nana create a giant board game version within a virtual space (following the logic of the Trouble Quest game they had previously introduced). The whole class participates and, by pure irony of fate, Saruyama is the one who manages to win and reach the end. Saruyama technically won the game and goes to claim the prize from the twins, hoping to win a date or something like that. That's when Nana reveals the real prize: Crimson Turtle. Nana explains her reasoning: she researched Earth's culture and discovered that, in Japan, turtles are traditional symbols of good luck. The problem is that the creature is a giant alien reptile full of horns and fangs that is part of Nana's collection. Instead of bringing luck, the turtle immediately tries to bite and swallow Saruyama. As an extra tidbit, this entire sequence from the board game ended up being exclusive to the manga and was never adapted into the anime seasons or OVAs! Another important detail is that the Crimson Turtle's flesh isn't bright red for nothing; it is toxic and poisonous. Being bitten by the turtle can transmit toxins and diseases—such as rabies—and attempting to eat its meat can cause a burning sensation worse than a thousand chili peppers; not to mention that the meat is tainted and can lead to nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or a mouth that feels like it's on fire.
