Shadow: He got in the way of me and the doctor's plans for world domination.

Shadow: At first, I framed him for crimes he didn't commit.

Shadow: And when that didn't work...

Shadow: I tried to kill him.

Knuckles: Eggman totally gaslit me about Sonic.

Knuckles: Telling me he was gonna steal the Master Emerald for his own master plan.

Knuckles: So when he showed up to my island, I knocked the shit out of him.

Knuckles: Good times, good times.

Silver: I...

Silver: May or may not have been convinced by someone that...

Silver: Uh...

Silver: Sonic was the root of all evil, and I had to kill him to save my future.

Shadow: So wait a minute...

Shadow: You just listen to anything anyone tells you?

Silver: Look, man, we were desperate. We had nothing.

Sonic: Huh? You know, I never really thought about what brought us all together in the first place.

Sonic: Heh.

Sonic: At least Jet's not trying to kill me.

Sonic: Hehe, right, Jet?

Jet: I'm still trying to kill you.
