The Librarian

The Librarian is one of the lesser-known Reality-Warping entities of the Kittyverse. He resides in the Library of Babel, and both guards and manages its infinite tombs, scrolls, books, and boundless secrets. The Library is built inside the mythical Yggdrasil Tree and has an infinite number of floors that can be accessed as long as someone has their library card, which the Librarian can give or take away at will. The Librarian's body is a mass of tentacles that are wrapped around itself into a vague humanoid form. It dislikes showing its full body to others and hides itself under a dark green, heavy, hooded robe. The Librarian, despite being an entity with unlimited power, is considered Mid-Teir from the Kittyverse power scale. He cares little for the Subspace Emessarie and the reality-warping entities that reside within it. He only cares about maintaining the library of Babel, its contents, and managing the flow of mana and miazma of the Kittyverse. One of the very few exceptions is Jestaria. They have an unusual friendship, like that of siblings, with the Librarian often acting as the reluctant older brother and Jestaria the eager younger sister. The Librarian is calm, not very talkative, and is very to the point. Yet despite his indifferent demeanor, once someone gets close, he tends to give in to his more empathetic side. But someone must first earn his trust, even to get close enough to earn his empathy. But to strangers, he will rarely interact with them, beyond assisting with finding what their looking for, or informing troublemakers if they do not behave, he will remove them from teh Library of Babel. The spirit of the Yggdrasil Tree often communicates with the Librarian through the wooden creaking of the floors and walls. And the Spirit of the Yggdrasil Tree is the only being the Librarian sees as his equal at managing the Library of Babel, and keeping it with endless rows of information maintained.
