Character Background

The cartoon narrates the adventures of an optimistic sea sponge and his friends in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. Currently, the franchise continues to expand, having recently released the feature film in theaters, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, and releasing more than 16 seasons. The human version of SpongeBob has the exact same personality as the original. He likes to make soap bubbles, hunt jellyfish, cook hamburgers and make sandwiches. The only difference is that the human form is not square, but is asexual, just like the original marine form.
