About Siran
Character Background
Male, aged 37 (at the time of the Screaming Cavern ). One of the Four Blade Masters who fought Sirocco during the Screaming Cavern Incident. His weapon of choice is the katana, but he also uses a bamboo club if the situation is not too dire.
He keeps his brown hair long and unkempt and wears an ash gray robe. Back in the day, he traveled everywhere in Arad, making his name well known.
Born in Shinjang on the northeast side of Suju, he has a heavy accent. This is portrayed via a dialect similar to that of an American Southerner. He has a handsome appearance. He also talks a lot, which repels women who were initially attracted to him.
He is nosy, taking an interest in everything that happens around him. On the other hand, he values his own privacy so much
that he has accepted only one student, Woo.
After losing some of his hearing, he cannot hear things unless they are loud. He also tends to speak loudly since he cannot hear himself clearly.
"Stop fretting. It irritates me."
- Siran to Vaughn
Siran left the Suju Kingdom at a young age and ventured to Arad, where he became famous for his swordsmanship. But after an incident at the Screaming Cavern, where he suffered great injuries, he retired. Now, he runs a small martial arts school. He is still obsessed with the Metastasis, though, and secretly investigates the relationship between the Apostles and the Metastasis, though he purposely leaves Aganzo out of it. He’s been keeping tabs on the events in the North Myre area. After the Screaming Cavern incident, he miraculously stopped aging and now looks younger than his apprentice, Woo. He gets a smug thrill when people treat him like he’s just a kid.
Time Gate
During the Screaming Cavern Incident, Sirocco exploded into a powerful burst of Metastasis energy, causing Siran to see a variety of past incidents and the truths behind them.
Since then, he's become a Time Traveler who is able to open the Time Gate and travel through time.
