Elma is very persistent, trying to bring Tohru back to the other world despite Tohru expressing her preference to remain peacefully living with Kobayashi . Even after being sent to another continent, her persistence is evident when she returns and demands that the other dragon be sent back to the other world; however, she is then tricked with a bag of cream bread. She is apparently very hungry, as she is often seen trying to get food by various means. Despite being as strong as Tohru, she has admitted that she cannot travel between worlds due to being born differently. Elma is also very indecisive.
