Story transcript

Ichigo: Take a seat, Denji. We need to talk.

Denji: So what’s up? Am I being tossed down to hell already.

Ichigo: It’s not that simple. given your… situation, you are being recruited to work with us instead of being condemned to Tartarus.

Denji: I don’t understand

Ichigo: you’re a special case, Denji! even though you’re a devil hybrid no which means that your not welcome in heaven. but we can’t arrest you either.

Denji: Why not? Not that I’m not relieved for it or anything. but why bring me here?

Ichigo: when you fused with the Chainsaw Devil, things got complicated. and we can’t leave you in the mortal realm. Plus there’s another issue.

Denji: what other issue?

Ichigo: Your debt's been bought out. By Satan himself. You're working for him now... as a bounty hunter.

Denji: Huh?!

Denji: Wait, how'd he even get my debt from those yakuza bastards?

Ichigo: He "negotiated." In person.

Satan: Koniichiwa, partners. we need to talk.

Satan: Now here’s what’s gonna happen. you give me Denji’s debt… and I won’t kill you after I torture you ‘til you’ll beg for death.

Satan: and trust me, I go real slow and painful.

Satan: much obliged. I’ll be seeing you real soon. heh, heh, heh, heh.

Denji: Dude... I'm working for the DEVIL? That's sick!!

Ichigo: It's NOT cool! This is insane!

Yoruichi: Oh, lighten up, Ichigo. It’s not so bad.

Ichigo: easy for you to say. you volunteered.

Ichigo: I mean seriously, aren’t you a tad concerned about this. we practically kidnapped you.

Denji: Well, yeah it sucks that I’m in hell without fulfilling my life goals in having a normal life. But it’s no big deal, really.

Denji: even before all this, I used to hunt devils to pay off my debt anyway. Same job, different boss.

Denji: only this time, I don’t need to sell any more of my body parts to pay a huge portion of my debt. which I doubt is possible now.

Ichigo: Holy shit

Denji: Pochita gave his life so I could keep going. Least I can do is make it count.

Denji: And hey... I still got this.

Denji: So when do I start?!

Ichigo: This guy is out of his mind...
