• Amelia — An 18-year-old Yorkshire goth teen turned anti-hero vigilante. Fierce and patriotic, she dual-wields pistols to fight corruption and threats to British values. She fights against the corruption and incompetence in the British government, specifically against Prevent, an authoritarian intel agency.
• Mildred Graves — Based on Charlie and Amelia's teacher from the Pathways visual novel. Graves acted as a teacher for Charlie and Amelia at their school, but in reality she is an undercover agent and spy for Prevent, an authoritarian intelligence agency. She has been reimagined as a major antagonist.
• V — The titular protagonist of the comic book series V for Vendetta. He's a mysterious anarchist, vigilante, & freedom fighter who's easily recognizable by his Guy Fawkes mask, long hair and dark clothing. He strives to topple a totalitarian regime of a dystopian United Kingdom through acts of heroism.
• William — Amelia's maternal grandfather—a rugged Scottish veteran and unyielding patriot. Father of Brigid and Amelia's mother. William's death radicalized Amelia, turning his lessons into her weapons, and setting her on the course of becoming a terrorist to fight Prevent.
