Zhuang Fangyi

Zhuang Fangyi is a native of Hongshan and a once-in-a-generation prodigy who was admitted to the Tianshi Bureau Academies before even reaching adulthood. Now serving as the Viceroy of the Wuling Scientific Developmental District and a Tianshi (Technologist) for the Hongshan Academy of Sciences (HAS), she rose to leadership under tragic circumstances: after a devastating disaster wiped out nearly all personnel at the Wuling Science Station, she was appointed Viceroy despite being the most junior member. Over the course of a single decade, she single-handedly transformed the station into a thriving city, becoming a deeply dedicated and responsible leader who oversees the administration of Wuling and the Novel Xiranite-based Materials Project. Her personality is characterized by a "gentle might"—she is humble, often the first to volunteer for any task, yet her intense focus and the "chilly tension" she carries can make her appear aloof, cold, and unapproachable to the citizens she serves. Despite her administrative power, she prefers the title "Tianshi Zhuang" over "Viceroy". Visually, she is noted for her striking, divine-yet-human appearance, which has drawn comparisons to characters like Shu due to her elegant Chinese-inspired attire, consisting of refined robes, gloves that cover her forearms, and a design that emphasizes a serene, almost "ghostly" luminous quality in her empowered states. This sense of duty is personified by a pear tree she planted as a vigil during Wuling's construction, a symbol of her enduring commitment to the city and its past, including a brief but deeply impactful early career stint working alongside the Endministrator.
