Yukari Yakumo

one of the most powerful and enigmatic youkai in gensokyo. She is an ancient being who uses her intellect and mastery of boundaries to maintain the balance of Gensokyo. She is one of the "Youkai Sages" who created the Great Hakurei Barrier, the boundary separating Gensokyo from the Outside World, roughly 1000 years ago. By creating Gensokyo, Yukari established a sanctuary where youkai could thrive, as the Outside World no longer believed in them. She is one of the few beings who can freely travel between Gensokyo and the Outside World and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the border. Her most recognizable ability is opening "gaps" in the fabric of space, allowing her to teleport anywhere instantly or reach through to steal items from a distance. She abuses this ability alot for own amusement or she's too stubborn or lazy to walk. When the well-being of Gensokyo is threatened, she does not hesitate to intervene, even if it means orchestrating others to do her bidding.
