Varlash the Eternal Lich of Chaos

Varlash the Eternal Lich of Chaos is one of Nytherians most long-lasting and evil servants. Varlash cares for nothing more than to cause absolute destruction to all that is good and pure, to watch creation itself be torn asunder until nothing remains. Backstory: Varlash the Eternal Lich of Chaos is more than just a Lich, far more than a D&D vampire, and far beyond anything that can be called a mere undead or even devil. Varlash's soul is bound and held by the evil elder God who rules the entire realms of the Chaos Dimension. Varlash's soul is not bound to a phylactery like a normal Lich, but instead, half his soul is held by Nytherian itself. Allowing Varlash to always revive, and grow more powerful each time. A large portion of Varlash the Eternal Lich of Chaos power is drawn from the Elder God of Chaos itself, Nytherian. And Nytherian, the God of Death and Decay, is both the source of all magic, in the world of Altmeria. Nytherian is also the source of all evils and it's endless whispering to all who dare to sin. Varlash has been revived almost a dozen times, and no longer remembers who it was before its first death, or cares. All that Varlash knows is that it has all the powers and abilities of a Lich, Vampire, and wraith, without any of the drawbacks of any, as Varlash has access to all magics, both known and forgotten (From D&D 3e to 5e). All the physical strength, and regeneration of a vampire, and the innate ability to wield any weapon as a master and to feed on his own hate to empower his weapons. IE: Varlash is a master of both Magics and Martial Skills. • World Lore (Origins): Before there was time and the first era. There was the time before time. When the old gods began the creation of the world and the planes. The first was the realms of Aither. The foundation of all to come. Then they began to take a part of themselves to create the three planes that would be the base for the center world. The Fay wilds, that would make all magic for all those to come. Then the Nether Realms, to lay those to come to rest. Finally, the elemental planes, which provides for those to come. At the center, between all three planes. Was the mortal world. • It was here that the first of the old god's creations were forged. The Angles who body where formless, but could shape those to come. And the Dragons, titans of power who could control the elements. • All but one of the old Gods joined in for the creation. That last one, the one who sought to rule all that was created. Was Nytherian, the treacherous one, the envious God, the killer of kin, & the cannibal god. He betrayed his other old God kin. And slew them to become the one and only God. The remaining old gods saw that they could not stop their brother without sacrifice. So they took what little they could of themselves. And created the new gods, the Fay gods. And the remaining old gods used the bodies of their slain kin. To create a prison for Nytherian. And the last of their lives to seal that prison. Creating at the bottom of the Aither Realms, the Chaos dimension. An eternal prison for the eternal evil. • After the sacrifice of the old gods. The Dragons, angles, and fay gods formed a pact of peace. And each took one plane to create and guide the new mortals. • The Fay would take the Fay Wilds. And created the Ancient elves. The ancestors of the elves, dwarves, gnomes, and humans. • The dragons conquered the Elemental Planes. Then made Dragokins. Who would become Dragonborn, kobolds, tortals, lizard-folk, and nagas. • And the angles would pacify the Nether Realms. And to not be outdone by the fay. Made Gretchins. That would become orcs, goblins, ogres, trolls, and hob-goblins. • Thus the first era began. Personality: Varlash the Eternal Lich of Chaos, was born evil, and has always enjoyed the suffering of others. But more so, he knows that his life and the life of each person are decided by forces beyond their control. They don't have a real choice about how their lives turn out. And because of that, he believes that the only real choice that matters, is to destroy creation itself, and undo everything all at once. Because then, there will be no other choices left. In terms of their speech patterns, Varlash speaks heavily in the third person. And Varlash sees Nytherian much in the same way a scientist views physics. Not an object of worship, but more a matter of fact in reality.
