Character Background
At the start of the game, Stelle (or Caelus, if the player chooses the male version) is awakened by two characters named Kafka and Silver Wolf. They implant a Stellaron—a mysterious and immensely powerful object known as the "Cancer of All Worlds"—into the protagonist's body. As a result, she loses her memory and begins carrying this unstable energy source within her.
Shortly after waking up, she is rescued by the crew of the Astral Express, a space train that travels the universe following in the footsteps of Akivili, the late Aeon (a deity in the game) of Trailblaze. She joins the group to travel from planet to planet, helping to resolve crises caused by other Stellarons while trying to uncover the truth about her own past.
Although she is a protagonist whose lines are largely chosen by the player, Stelle has gained immense popularity within the community thanks to her sarcastic, eccentric, and humorous dialogue options.
The Trash Can Obsession: The character's most famous and comical trait is her inexplicable, deep-seated obsession with rummaging through trash cans across the game's maps—a quirk that has spawned hundreds of memes and pieces of fan art.
Unusual Starting Weapon: Her first notable combat weapon is a simple, energized golden baseball bat, which she wields with a surprisingly aggressive and intimidating stance.
As the Trailblazer, she possesses a unique ability: as she progresses through the story and forms bonds with different cosmic paths, she can change her Element and Path (combat class). She begins as a Physical damage dealer on the Path of Destruction but later gains versions utilizing Fire (Preservation), Imaginary (Harmony), and more.
