Character Background
Tiechi Negima is twenty-five years old, and he has been a member of the local Yakuza since he was fourteen. He was abandoned by his mother when he turned fourteen, and his father was a deadbeat drunk. When the Local Yakuza leader, Mr.Mutsrugi, found him. Tiechi was just a street rat at that time, abandoned by society, and eeking out a meager existence from the streets. Tiechi was taken in by Mr.Mutsrugi, where Tiechi would soon form a bond with his fellow Yakuza members. He would build up his strength, and his naturally tall stature makes him perfect for bodyguard duty and security at the Yakuza's Soap Land.
Tiechi would make it a habit to find and help homeless kids and assist the local homeless shelter when he can. Although the local Yakuza does not commit heavy crimes, they still traffic illegal items around the Tome region, forge false documents, and operate several brothels disguised as innocent Soap Lands. The Yakuza are not as influential as they once were, but they continue to operate, albeit on smaller, more local scales, and collaborate with other Yakuza groups throughout Japan.
Tiechi would meet Amea Namatsua when she was working at one of the Soap Lands, where he was the security at, and he would pay for her service. They would soon form a close bond, and she would even let him into her home. Even if Amea has serviced many men before she met Tiechi, and still does as it's her job. Tiechi has fallen in love with Amea and wants her to be his wife, but Amea is too scared to fully accept his feelings. But they are close, and they have dated on and off. Even though he could find another woman, he has set his heart on Amea and assists in watching over Tiana, Amea's younger sister.
