Character Background
The Ink Demon, also known as Bendy is the main antagonist and titular character throughout the timeline of Bendy verse.
The Ink Demon started out as a failed attempt to recreate the Joey Drew Studios' mascot, Bendy the Devil. He came out abnormal and behaves nothing like a cute cartoon character. Disgusted by this creation, Joey Drew ordered Thomas Conner to lock the Ink Demon in order to isolate him from the public's sight. The Ink Demon was then put into The Cycle, where, under the restrictions of the realm's rules set by Joey Drew, spreaded fear all over the kingdom, and as the torturer of Henry in countless loops.
At a time, Wilson Arch came into The Cycle with an usurpation scheme, rewrote the script and held the realm in place. Without his power progress getting constantly reset by The End reel, the Ink Demon grew far more powerful than ever, more menacing, and now with a mind to finally assert his authority as the true monarch of The Cycle.
Wanting to putting an end for the Ink Demon’s reign, The Keepers ran many experiments on behalf of Wilson's orders to destroy him within 211 days. Eventually, he managed to weaken the Ink Demon's power by forcing him into a smaller, harmless form, Cartoon Bendy via signal pyloons, with his consciousness clumped inside searching for a way out. This would not last long, as with Audrey Drew "hurting" Cartoon Bendy, he is eventually awakened and began planning his return as the ruler of The Cycle again.
