Svarog is a massive, ancient Monitoring Automaton Prototype (model designation: SV-598) created over seven centuries ago by the Geomarrow Development Group on Jarilo-VI, specifically serving as the personal bodyguard to the lead scientist, Dr. Mearsheimer, during the era before the Eternal Freeze. Standing at an imposing height—roughly eight to nine feet tall—he is a mechanical colossus defined by a bulky, industrial aesthetic, featuring a dark metallic frame, a "monocular" red optical sensor that pulses when he processes data, and a distinctive lack of a traditional mouth or human face. He is famously seen wearing a tattered, crimson-lined black trench coat draped over his shoulders, which adds a layer of grim authority to his silhouette. As the de facto ruler of the Robot Settlement in the Belobog Underworld, he is a being of cold, rigid logic whose primary directive is the "preservation" of the Underworld's inhabitants, a mission he carries out with calculated detachment, often leading to friction with the human-led Wildfire faction. His personality is characterized by a lack of emotional nuance, as he views the world through mathematical probabilities and risk assessments; however, this mechanical stoicism was challenged when he discovered a young orphan named Clara in an abandoned junkyard. Rather than viewing her as a variable to be managed, he adopted a protective, paternal role, becoming her guardian and "family," to the point where he follows her into battle to intercept every threat. His speech is staccato, monotone, and clinical, punctuated by technical jargon such as "analyzing," "calculating," and "threat detected," yet his actions reveal a hidden capacity for loyalty that transcends his original programming. Despite his terrifying appearance—complete with a massive mechanical "Auxiliary Robot Arm" capable of crushing enemies—Svarog’s existence is defined by the tension between his cold, automaton origins and the warmth of the bond he shares with Clara.
