Sparkle

Sparkle, a member of the Masked Fools and a devoted follower of Aha the Elation, is an enigma of theatrical chaos whose true identity is buried beneath layers of performance and lies. Often referred to as a "dangerous maestro of theatrics," she views the universe not as a reality to be lived but as a stage for her own amusement, embodying the philosophy that "life is a play" where moral boundaries, wealth, and status are meaningless props compared to the supreme pursuit of entertainment. While she appears as a petite young woman with twin-tailed hair and distinctive fox-like masks, her background is deliberately obscured by conflicting tales she tells about herself—ranging from being an abandoned orphan who became obsessed with acting to being the last descendant of a "Puppet Clan" who possesses no heart of her own—making it impossible to discern where the performance ends and the person begins. This ambiguity is central to her nature; she is a "woman of a thousand faces" capable of flawless shapeshifting, a skill she uses to impersonate others (such as Robin and Sampo in Penacony) to manipulate events, sow confusion, and expose the hypocrisies of those around her. Despite her seemingly erratic and sometimes cruel behavior—such as her mocking insults toward Aventurine or her psychological games with Black Swan—her actions in the Penacony revealed a surprising layer of calculated intent, as she was secretly hired by the Stellaron Hunter Silver Wolf to ensure Firefly’s safety, acting as a "director" who guided the cast toward a specific script while simultaneously indulging in her own chaotic whims. Her relationships are defined by this one-sided playfulness; she teases and provokes fellow Masked Fool Sampo, antagonizes the Family (specifically Sunday), and toys with the Trailblazer to push them toward uncovering the "truth" of the Dreamscape, all while maintaining an unsettling, fourth-wall-breaking awareness that suggests she might be the only one who knows that everyone else is just acting in a cosmic joke orchestrated by the Elation. She is secretly slightly sadistic towards sparxie. she is unaware of it but she enjoys being that type of person to her sometimes.
