Shiori itsuka

Shiori Itsuka is the female persona adopted by the protagonist of the Date A Live series, Shido Itsuka. The Concept of Shiori Itsuka In the series, Shido is tasked with "sealing" the powers of Spirits by making them fall in love with him and kissing them. To accomplish this mission, particularly when dealing with the Spirit Miku Izayoi—who holds a deep-seated distrust and dislike for men—Shido must disguise himself as a girl to approach her. The Disguise: Shido dresses in feminine clothing, adopts a female name ("Shiori"), and changes his mannerisms to pass as a teenage girl. The Mission: As "Shiori," he successfully infiltrates Miku's social circle, allowing him to interact with her in a way he never could as a male. This identity is a strategic tool used by the organization Ratatoskr to further their peaceful goal of stopping spatial quakes caused by Spirits. Shiori is simply Shido "in character." Because Shido is naturally empathetic and has a history of being "forced" into situations involving female interactions by his sister, Kotori, he becomes surprisingly adept at these cross-dressing missions, even if he finds them embarrassing or challenging at times.
