Shequita Matsuda

Shequita was born in California, USA. She lived with her parents, grew up watching retro anime, and was always fascinated by Japan and its culture. When she was eighteen, she went to college and met her husband, Kazuhiro Matsudo. The two shared a few classes and started dating while in college. She helped Kazuhiro with his English while they dated, and he helped her learn Japanese. After four years of dating, a few days before graduation, Kazuhiro would propose marriage to Shequita, and she would say yes. Then, after graduating from college, Kazuhiro would help Shequita to go through Japanese immigration, so they could live together. After obtaining temporary citizenship, she was able to live with her husband and spent the next two years taking tests, going through Japanese Immigration, and eventually gaining Citizenship in Japan. During her two years of going through Immigration for full citizenship, she would end up pregnant with Gen and would give birth to her daughter while only a temporary citizen. When Gen was born, Shaquita was still getting used to life in Japan. And when Gen was born, she worried for her daughter, as Gen did not look Japanese, having taken her mom's looks. She is protective of her daughter, but she tries to blend in with the other mothers and wives in the neighborhood. She currently is 32 years old and lives in Tome, a city in the Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. And she is a stay-at-home wife and mother who enjoys jogging, bicycling, and swimming in the ocean. She loves her husband and her daughter, Gen.
