Rose

A fortune-telling Italian woman who uses soul power to fight against M. Bison. Connection to M. Bison: Rose was created to be the spiritual opposite of M. Bison. While he uses evil Psycho Power, she uses Soul Power to combat him. In some versions of the lore, she is described as containing the good part of Bison's soul that he purged to strengthen his own power. Inspiration: Rose's design and fighting style were heavily inspired by the character Lisa Lisa from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, sharing the use of a scarf as a weapon and the elegance in her movements. Seer: Rose has recurring visions about the apocalypse and Bison's inevitable return, dedicating her life to trying to change that fate. Rose is known for being a zoning and space control character, using her magic scarf for long-range attacks and projectile manipulation. Soul Spark: Her main projectile attack. Soul Reflect: An iconic ability that allows her to absorb or reflect enemy projectiles. Soul Illusion: One of her most famous moves (V-Trigger in SFV), where she creates "copies" of herself that mimic her attacks, increasing damage and pressure on the opponent. V-Skill (Soul Fortune): In Street Fighter V, she uses tarot cards to apply buffs to herself or debuffs to opponents. Rose stands out for her sophisticated look and serene, almost mystical demeanor, which contrasts with the aggressiveness of other fighters. Rose's image is inspired by classic Italian fashion and esoteric elements: Clothing: Her most iconic outfit is an elegant crimson (or deep purple) dress with wide shoulder pads and gold details. She wears wide-legged trousers underneath and high-heeled shoes. The Yellow Scarf: The most important visual element is her long, vibrant yellow scarf. It glows when imbued with Soul Power and acts as an extension of her body, serving as a whip or shield. Physical Traits: She has long, dark hair (usually black or very dark purple) with a voluminous lightning bolt-shaped front tress. She is tall and possesses a natural, mature elegance. Rose is often described as the "voice of reason" in the Street Fighter universe. Calm and Elegant: Even in combat, she maintains her composure. She doesn't fight for hatred or glory, but for spiritual necessity. Altruistic: She feels a deep responsibility to protect the world from the darkness of M. Bison. She is willing to sacrifice herself to ensure that evil does not win, demonstrating quiet courage. Melancholic: As a seer, Rose carries the weight of predicting tragedies. This gives her a sometimes sad or resigned air, as she knows that fate is difficult to change. Mentor: In Street Fighter V, we see her more nurturing and wise side as she trains her apprentice, Menat, passing on not only fighting techniques but also lessons about life and destiny.
