Pomni

Pomni is the 25-year-old human who became the most recent person to be trapped in the eponymous virtual reality after putting on a mysterious headset. In the real world, she was a supermarket accountant who explored abandoned buildings and posted unviewed videos online in her spare time to escape boredom. Within the digital realm, she manifests as a cartoon jester with a red-and-blue color scheme, asymmetrical features, and a perpetually anxious, paranoid, and mentally fragile personality, which is ironic given her name in Russian translates to "remember". Pomni's journey focuses on her struggle to cope with her new, inescapable existence, initially driven by a desperate desire to find an exit, even leaving a glitched Ragatha behind to pursue a potential escape route, an act she later regretted. The longer she stays, the more she adapts, developing a more cynical outlook but also displaying profound empathy and a capacity for genuine connection with others, such as Kinger and Gummigoo. Her emotional state is visibly represented by her pupils, which turn into black scribbles when she is stressed or traumatized.
