Pim Pimling

Pim Pimling is the relentlessly optimistic, pink employee of Smiling Friends Inc. he is driven by a manic, almost desperate need to make others happy, often serving as the cheerful foil to his cynical best friend, Charlie Dompler. Despite his bubbly exterior and signature exposed-nerve hair, Pim’s life is underscored by deep-seated anxiety and a dysfunctional family background, which occasionally leads to explosive emotional breakdowns when his positive worldview is challenged. He is defined by his unwavering (if often naive) belief in the goodness of the world, making him both the heart of the show and its most frequent victim of surreal, harsh reality.
