Petelgeuse

As the sadistic and unhinged Sin Archbishop of Sloth, Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti is defined by his absolute madness, self-mutilating ticks, and fanatical obsession with proving his "love" and "diligence" to the Witch of Envy, Satella. Guided strictly by his Witch Cult Gospel, he views any deviation from his warped sense of duty as the ultimate sin of slothfulness, leading him to execute over half of all historical Witch Cult attacks and making him the most prolific mass murderer among the Sin Archbishops. To carry out his massacres and his long-term plan to use the half-elf Emilia as a physical vessel to reincarnate Satella, he commands a personal faction of cultists known as the Fingers. Because he is an evil spirit, he maintains near-immortality by forcibly possessing these pre-selected, genetically modified followers when his current host is destroyed, even splitting fragments of his Sloth Witch Factor among them to heighten their compatibility as vessels. In battle, he primarily utilizes the Authority of Sloth to manifest up to one hundred Unseen Hands—invisible, shadowy constructs that only Natsuki Subaru can perceive—which he uses to fly through the air, rip apart solid rock, or violently crush and contort his victims. He also employs a corrupting black wave that induces severe hallucinations and excruciating mental pain, alongside advanced Earth Magic to construct massive stone barriers. He is continually stalked by the Sin Archbishop of Wrath, Sirius, who harbors a deep, unrequited love for him. Petelgeuse's reign of terror finally ends along the Lifaus Highway in the Mathers Domain, where he is completely outmatched by Subaru’s strategic alliance and crushed under a massive boulder.
