Mr.Beast

Born [James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson]() on May 7, 1998, in Wichita, Kansas, is an American YouTuber, media personality, businessman, and philanthropist whose intense obsession with the YouTube algorithm fueled his rise from a quiet, introverted kid in a military family into the most-subscribed individual content creator in history, crossing an unprecedented 500 million subscriber milestone on June 12, 2026. Raised primarily by a single mother in Greenville, North Carolina—where his empire, Beast Industries, remains headquartered today—Jimmy began his occupation at age 13 under the handle "Mrb6000", spending years making low-view gaming commentary, tutorials, and videos estimating other creators' earnings before dropping out of Pitt Community College to study online video logistics full-time. His history completely shifted in 2017 when his first viral video of counting to 100,000 launched a revolutionary, high-paced game-show genre funded entirely by a loop of radical reinvestment: he funnels every dollar of profit back into bigger video budgets, creating iconic, genuine money giveaways that scaled from tipping pizza drivers $100 to orchestrating multi-million-dollar stunt competitions, gifting custom private islands, and funding massive global philanthropic operations like drilling water wells and curing blindness. This hyper-focused, perfectionist, and deeply philanthropic personality is balanced onscreen by a physically imposing 6-foot-4-inch stature and a tight-knit core crew consisting of his childhood best friends and co-hosts Chandler Hallow, Karl Jacobs, Nolan Hansen, and cameraman Tareq Salameh. Backed by consumer product powerhouses like Feastables and Lunchly alongside his massively viewed media channels, Beast Industries is valued at $5 billion, placing his personal wealth at an estimated $2.6 billion net worth as of 2026 and cementing his legacy as a multi-billionaire visionary who completely redefined global entertainment.
