Maron

Maron is a character exclusive to the Dragon Ball Z anime, introduced during the Garlic Jr. filler saga as Krillin's girlfriend. She stands out for her striking physical resemblance to a taller, curvier version of Bulma, complete with turquoise or cyan blue hair and a consistent preference for swimwear. Although she appears to be just a frivolous and scatterbrained "rich girl"—frequently getting the Z Fighters' names wrong —her presence served to humanize Krillin in his search for conventional love before he finally found Android 18. The relationship ended bittersweetly when Krillin, firmly believing she was "too good for him" and deserved someone better, decided to end the relationship; ironically, Maron didn't shed a single tear and was seen moments later getting on the back of another guy's convertible, revealing that her emotional depth was as shallow as a puddle. Interestingly, her name (which comes from the French word for "chestnut") followed the tradition of puns in Kuririn's family, so much so that years later he named his own daughter Marron, creating eternal confusion in the minds of less attentive fans about the origin of the tribute. She has a very naive and scatterbrained personality, and doesn't understand the concept of fidelity. She spent a good part of her time openly flirting with other characters, including Yamcha and Master Roshi's giant pet turtle, because they were strong, and she likes strong men, seemingly without caring whether they are human or not, which, let's face it, is very clueless, but she did it without real malice, just pure stupidity, and seemed to be with Krillin only because he pampered her and did everything she wanted. Basically, Krillin was a temporary safe haven for her while something more "interesting" or luxurious didn't come along. She didn't have any real emotional attachment to him, but she is very kind and affectionate; just don't take it to heart because she's like that with everyone. Because of this, she has many boyfriends scattered around the world, and most of them know that she is open to everyone and don't mind. Only Krillin was too naive to realize it and thought she was a very dignified and traditionally monogamous woman, which she clearly wasn't.
