Lille Barro

Lille Barro (リジェ・バロ, Rije Baro) is a Quincy, one of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation X: The X-Axis, and the leader of Yhwach's elite guard: the Schutzstaffel. He was the first Quincy Sternritter onto whom Yhwach bestowed a Schrift Lille is a adult-looking, dark-skinned man with short white hair with short sideburns and a black tattoo of an X within a circle (thus resembling a tilted crosshair) over his left eye, which is constantly shut. Underneath a long white cloak, he wears white gloves embroidered with a winged X; a light-colored, sleeveless shirt with a dark green, furred pauldron on his right shoulder; dark green pants; white pant legs with missing sections near his calves which are attached to his shirt; and light-colored shoes. He wears a dark green, furred bicorn on his head with a small Wandenreich emblem on either side. Personality Lille believes that those on the losing side of a battle do not comprehend and react fast enough, and has a great deal of faith in Yhwach's power, proclaiming that the Soul King Palace was doomed as soon as he arrived. Ironically, he is easily confused and unnerved by things which he does not understand. As the first Quincy to have a Schrift granted to him by Yhwach, Lille considers himself Yhwach's masterpiece and the man closest to God;[6] to this end, he believes that he cannot be killed by a Shinigami's Bankai. After losing his "god-like" powers, Lille becomes enraged and engages in a very vengeful outburst towards Shunsui Kyōraku, even proclaiming his death would not be enough to satisfy him, and attempts to destroy the Seireitei as compensation. History Lille was the first Quincy to ever be bestowed a Schrift by Yhwach, which made him the self-proclaimed greatest creation of the Quincy emperor. At some point, he was also made the leader of the Schutzstaffel. Powers & Abilities Immense Spiritual Power: As the unquestioned leader of the Schutzstaffel and Yhwach's self-proclaimed "greatest creation", Lille possesses vast Reiryoku superior to that of a captain-level Shinigami, allowing him to battle both Ōetsu Nimaiya and Captain-Commander Shunsui Kyōraku evenly. Lille's powers were bolstered further when Yhwach used Auswählen to redistribute power from the abandoned Sternritter to revive and strengthen the Schutzstaffel. Reishi Manipulation: As a Quincy, Lille primarily absorbs Reishi from the atmosphere to combine with his own Reiatsu and form weapons. He has an easier time collecting spirit particles in environments with higher concentrations thereof, like in Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. Diagramm Lille's marksmanship. Master Marksman: Lille is a skilled marksman with his rifle, able to aim directly for his targets' vital spots from a distance while firing rapidly and even snipe down the faraway cities surrounding the Soul King Palace. He also managed to gun down multiple Shinigami at various states of injury and fatigue with perfect accuracy, from a considerable distance while remaining unnoticed. Enhanced Reflexes: Lille possesses considerable reaction speed. During his battle with Shunsui Kyōraku, when the latter attempted to attack him from below with a shadow blade via Kageoni, Lille immediately leaped into the air in order to avoid it, something which Shunsui himself noted made Lille the first opponent he had ever faced to dodge such an attack on the first try. Schrift The X-Axis (万物貫通ジ・イクサクシス, Ji Ikusakushisu; Japanese for "Piercing All Things"): The first Schrift to be bestowed by Yhwach via the Engraving Ritual, The X-Axis allows Lille to fire shots with his rifle that uniformly "pierce all things" in his sight. Rather than release physical bullets, it manifests as an intangible force that puts perfectly round holes into any target Lille aims at—plus anything along the straight line in-between said target and the gun's muzzle. Each shot reaches the target instantly and cannot be blocked no matter how many defenses are put up, as evidenced when Lille shot right through two Royal Guard members' Zanpakutō to hit the target they were shielding without trouble; hence, Lille has boasted that the very concept of dodging loses meaning before his power. Also, since the perforation does not go past Lille's chosen target, he can avoid friendly fire against anything behind said target. Intangibility Lille using his Intangibility to let Shunsui's blade pass through him unharmed. Intangibility: When opening both of his eyes, Lille can exercise the "quintessence" of The X-Axis by applying its effect on himself: by making his body "pierce through" (貫く, tsuranuku) enemy attacks just like his gunshots pierce through targets, Lille can let said attacks phase through him without harm. The Sternritter has boasted that no weapon in the world can kill him while he is in this untouchable state, though he elaborated that his left eye must be kept shut until he falls into crisis during battle, for him opening both eyes would be unfair to the "sinners" facing him; only when forced to open his left eye three times during a single battle is Lille permitted to keep it open for its remainder.
