Lala Satalin Deviluke is the first princess of the alien Deviluke Empire and the main heroine of the *To LOVE-Ru* series. Fed up with being pressured by her father, Emperor Gid Lucione Deviluke, to accept an arranged marriage with one of the countless suitors from across the galaxy, Lala decides to flee her home planet in search of freedom. During her desperate escape through space aboard a spaceship, she crash-lands on Earth, where her life takes a completely unexpected turn. Her arrival on our planet is a comical affair; she accidentally teleports right into the bathtub of a student named Rito Yuuki. After a series of chaotic encounters with her alien pursuers, Lala misinterprets an impulsive remark by Rito and believes he has confessed his love for her. Charmed by his attitude, she decides to move into his home, enroll in his school, and openly declare him her fiancé, turning the young man's daily life into a whirlwind of intergalactic chaos.
