Jax

Jax is an egotistical and apathetic purple anthropomorphic rabbit who serves as one of the main characters and primary sources of conflict and dark humor in the digital realm. Physically, he is tall and lanky, with a design reminiscent of 1930s rubber hose cartoons, featuring yellow eyes and teeth, and perpetually wearing pink overalls with yellow gloves. Though he appears to relish the consequence-free nature of the digital world, constantly pranking and tormenting his fellow human captives—especially Gangle and Ragatha—it becomes increasingly clear that his sadistic persona is a facade. This "jerkass" attitude is a deeply ingrained coping mechanism stemming from the trauma of having lost a previous friend (named Ribbit) to "abstraction," the process where a human mind breaks down from despair and becomes a mindless, formless entity. By pushing others away and refusing emotional attachment, he attempts to shield himself from the pain of future loss, a behavior that ultimately takes a significant toll on his own mental health, pushing him close to abstraction himself, as seen in his private breakdown
