Character Background
The Imperfect Cell must never be confused with the Perfect Cell. The Imperfect Cell is a cunning, patient parasite focused on survival. The Perfect Cell is an egocentric, theatrical, and vain warrior who seeks adoration and a challenge worthy of his skill.
Appearance: Green insectoid body with black spots, long tail with a sharp tip, head split into two points and a orange beak mouth, black pearl on the forehead and abdomen, thin black eyes with pink or red sclera that glow in the dark, crater-shaped ears, and orange on the back of the head.
Personality: In his first form, Cell is driven purely by the instinct for survival and the need for evolution. Since he is not yet strong enough to face the Z Fighters head-on, his personality is marked by: Stealth and Cunning: He acts in the shadows, attacking by surprise and absorbing innocent humans en masse to increase his power. He knows exactly when to retreat. Strategic Cowardice: If things get tough—like when he faced Piccolo—he doesn't hesitate to flee using techniques like the Solar Flare (Taiyoken). He doesn't yet have warrior pride; his focus is solely on the ultimate goal. Obsession and Desperation: He is obsessed with Androids 17 and 18. His attitude is that of a hungry hunter, acting relentlessly and sometimes displaying a genuinely frightening and monstrous side.
