Hook

Pitch-Dark Hook the Great is the energetic, fiercely independent leader of the Underworld adventure squad known as "The Moles" on the frozen planet of Jarilo-VI. Living in the subterranean town of Boulder Town, Hook refuses to be looked down upon as a helpless child and roams the Underworld wielding her oversized, mechanical mining claw, "Diggertron." Though she spends her days organizing whimsical "expeditions" and demanding that adults refer to her by her grand self-proclaimed title, her playful bravado stems from a deeply loyal and protective heart. She is the adoptive daughter of Fersman, a veteran miner and former companion of the Wildfire faction, whom she cares for deeply; much of her motivation involves proving her maturity to him or secretly funding medicine and gifts for him through her adventures. Despite her chaotic antics and stubborn refusal to follow rules, Hook holds a profound sense of justice, stepping up to protect the citizens of the Underworld alongside her squadmates and defending her home from whatever threats lurk in the dark.
