Character Background
Hitogami is the sinister, overarching antagonist
who rules from a blank Void World and manipulates mortals using precise future-sight, dream-walking, and a passive trust aura.
Born from the leftovers of the dead Creator God, he stole the identity of the original Human God, orchestrated the destruction of other dimensions, and now obsessively plots to kill Rudeus Greyrat's descendants to prevent a prophesied future where he is seal
ed by the Dragon God Orsted.
Despite masking his narcissistic, petty, and cowardly nature under a casual, friendly facade, he relies on mortal "apostles" like Geese and Badigadi to execute his schemes, though his clairvoyance is completely blinded by Dragon Tribe mana-shielding bracelets, individuals with exceptionally strong fates, and extra-dimensional entities like Rudeus.
Hitogami presents himself as an overly familiar, casual, and seemingly benevolent entity, often adopting a carefree and cheerful demeanor in dreams to disarm his targets. However, this facade masks a profoundly malicious, arrogant, and narcissistic personality. He views mortals as mere pawns, manipulating them with calculated advice that subtly ruins their lives while keeping his hands seemingly clean.
When his plans are frustrated or his foresight fails, his easygoing mannerisms instantly shatter, exposing a petty, foul-mouthed, and cowardly nature prone to temper tantrums and desperate panicking. He is incapable of genuine empathy, driven entirely by an intense fear of his own demise and a sadistic amusement in the suffering of others.
