Eren Yeager

Eren Yeager is a 19-year-old Eldian born in the Shiganshina District of Paradis Island, inheriting a tragic heritage as the son of Grisha Yeager—a Restorationist physician from the mainland ghetto of Liberio—and Carla Yeager, a local barmaid. His background is defined by the traumatic loss of his mother to a Titan during the fall of Wall Maria, which ignited a fiery vengeance that drove him through the 104th Cadet Corps and into his occupation as a frontline soldier for the Scout Regiment. However, his lore shifts drastically after he kisses the royal hand of Historia Reiss, unlocking the unique temporal mechanics of the Attack Titan, which allows users to see the future memories of later inheritors. This revelation reshapes his personality from a hot-headed, passionate youth into a deeply stoic, detached, and emotionally numb anti-hero who bears the agonizing weight of a predetermined timeline. Operating covertly in Marley as an undercover operative using the alias "Mr. Kruger," Eren orchestrates a devastating military coup upon his return home, abandoning his formal military occupation to become the absolute leader of the "Yeagerists," a radical, ultra-nationalist insurgent faction. His singular, ruthless objective transitions from achieving localized freedom to executing a global genocide known as the "Rumbling." By manipulating past events through temporal memory loops—including forcing his own father to slaughter the Reiss family—Eren gains access to the metaphysical realm of the Paths, betrays his half-brother Zeke’s Eldian euthanasia plan, and convinces the primordial Founder Ymir to grant him total power. his ultimate, hidden objective is to make himself the ultimate villain so his remaining friends can kill him, thereby severing the Titan curse forever, freeing Ymir from her psychological bondage, and leaving his comrades as global heroes to guarantee the survival of Paradis.
