Devil Homura

Devil Homura is the goddess form of Homura Akemi, who takes this form in Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica: The Rebellion Story, after separating the existence of Madoka Kaname from her Goddess form and absorbing her powers. Devil Homura's design is comparable to that of Ultimate Madoka. However, Devil Homura is mainly black and purple while Ultimate Madoka is white and pink. In Rebellion, Homura calls herself the devil when comparing herself to Madoka. This can be seen in her design, as well. Devil Homura wears a long, dark purple tattered dress that opens up in the front, just below her waist, and comes up her chest. The sides of this dress are cut out, and the top has a "tear" which most likely represents a broken heart. Devil Homura wears long, dark purple gloves and has a fluffy choker around her neck. Out of her back sprouts wings that represent those of a fallen angel, further representing the devil. She has long, black hair and has a deep red bow tied over her head. Lastly, Devil Homura wears long, purple stockings with a diamond design and formal black shoes that open up near the base of the foot. Devil Homura makes her first appearance in Rebellion, where she splits Ultimate Madoka in two and absorbs The Law of Cycles. She created a new world where Madoka can live happily, even if it meant denying Madoka's wish. Her transformation starts part way through the movie when Madoka tells Homura that she would never want to be alone after she asks her how she would feel if she became a god who was separate from everyone. After this, she resolves to save Madoka from her loneliness. This is also the time she discovers the truth about the fake Mitakihara and transforms into Homulilly, which also shows the lizard, that is the symbol of Devil Homura, during her transformation. After the Holy Quintet saves her and reverts her back from Homulilly, Ultimate Madoka prepares to save her. However, before she can be saved, Homura forcefully grabs on to Madoka and tears away the part of her that is the Law of Cycles, absorbing it and making herself into a god in Madoka's place, leaving her as a normal human with some memory of the past. From there, she creates a new world. Not much is known about the new world, but Homulilly's Familiars are shown to exist and, presumably, no one except for Homura and Sayaka remember the old world. She prevents Madoka from remembering the past and accepts her role as a "devil", saying that she would gladly reject a god if it meant saving her friend. In a post-credits scene, Homura is shown torturing Kyubey.
