Chun-Li

Created by Capcom and introduced in *Street Fighter II* (1991), Chun-Li is a Chinese martial arts expert and Interpol investigator, historically recognized as the first playable female character in the history of fighting games. Her primary mission within the franchise is to dismantle the Shadaloo criminal syndicate and avenge the death of her father, Dorai, who was murdered by the villain M. Bison. Renowned for her agility and the legendary *Hyakuretsukyaku* (Lightning Legs) multi-kick move—not to mention her iconic, powerful legs—Chun-Li sports an unmistakable look featuring a modified blue *qipao*, spiked bracelets, and signature double buns ("ox horns"); she is globally acclaimed as the "First Lady of Fighting Games" and a cultural icon of strength and female empowerment.
