Charlie (pilot)

In the pilot, Charlie wore a red suit jacket with a black bow tie, a white shirt, and black trousers. In the pilot, Charlie's sclera (the "potato" of the eye) was dark yellow/pale, almost giving her a classic, ancient creature look. Her blonde hair in the pilot had a slightly more voluminous, wavy, and "messy" appearance at the ends. This is one of the most famous changes. In the pilot and in the old promotional materials, Charlie's last name was Magne (a pun on Charlemagne), different from the last name of the Charlie in the official series, which was changed to Morningstar. In the original concept of the pilot, Charlie was described by VivziePop as being over 200 years old, but she acted extremely naive, almost childlike. Charlie in the pilot sometimes seemed a little lost or easily intimidated by public opinion in Hell (as seen in the newspaper scene with Katie Killjoy). In the pilot, their romance was very subtle on screen (many new viewers didn't even realize at first that they were a couple, appearing only as best friends or business partners).
