Charlie Dompler

Charlie Dompler is a 27-year-old yellow "critter" who works as a counselor at Smiling Friends Inc. a job where he is tasked with bringing happiness to various bizarre and often distressed clients. Charlie is the pragmatic, laid-back, and frequently cynical counterpart to his hyper-optimistic partner, Pim. He is physically defined by his stocky build, large nose, and signature orange hoodie and brown baseball cap. While he often appears nonchalant or even lazy, Charlie has a surprisingly strong moral compass and is a devout Catholic who frequently references his faith. His personal life includes a human girlfriend named Zoey, a severe peanut allergy, and a history of heart problems that once required a pacemaker. In a major series turning point, he actually died and spent time in Hell before being resurrected by God
