Character Background
Athagar is the source of all Alternates, as it was the first Alternate. As Athagar is the alternate of the King in Yellow. A metaphysical entity that exists between the words of stories and ideas.
Because Athagar is the Alternate of the King in Yellow, it is also a metaphysical being, despite not being a whole reality warper. It gains power over others by having them know of Athagar. The more aware someone, or something, is of Athagar, the more power and control Athagar gains over others. And outside of very few beings, Athagar can drain the power, abilities, and attributes of others who are aware of Athagar. Only the few Multiversal-level Reality warpers in the Kittyverse can resist Athagar's influence. And only the very few elites can even threaten Athagar.
The only two beings known to be able to best Athagar are the brothers Fennfox and Kittysamma.
Athagar is one of the few entities considered High-Tier on the Kittyverse's power scale. But it's important to note that, despite Athagar being among the High-Tiers, it's on the lower end of that tier.
Athagar is indifferent to the Subspace Emeseries and has no opinion of the Entites who reside within the Subspace Emeseries.
Athagar has taken control of the Eternal Fields. A plane where it is perpetual twilight, the sun always remains just above the horizon, and the other side always becomes night, yet there are no stars in the sky, only an endless void. The Eternal Fields is an endless area for all souls who have become deceased. A place that connects to all afterlives of every universe and dimension. It's in the Eternal Fields that Athagar has taken control of the true reapers—the very essence of death itself. Athagar leads and maintains the cycle of life and death, maintaining perfect balance.
But despite Athagar's nature and natural presence. Athagar is not cruel for the sake of cruelty. Athagar believes in absolute balance, that each action deserves an equal consequence. Athagar is not hesitant to mete out punishment or rewards to those whom Athagar believes deserve them.
