Aria Nemonia

Aria Nemonia is a twenty-year-old woman living in Tyaria. An Earth-like world, where humanity is locked in a desperate war of survival against an endless assault of monsters who crave human flesh. * World Lore: Tyaria is a world that has been plagued by endless war. Not wars between human nations. But a desperate war for survival for humanity, against monsters that can form from corrupted earth. Since humans first built their earliest cities and civilizations, monsters have arisen to attack and consume humans. Because of this, there have always been two types of humans: the majority are known as base humans, powerless, but numerous, and completely defenseless against even the weakest monsters. The second type of human is the supers, now called heroes. Humans with powers and enhanced physical abilities. Supers are seemingly random when they are born, as any human couple can produce a super. Even if both parents are supers, the child is just as likely to be Base Human. Also, unfortunately, heroes naturally suffer from low fertility, and a hero couple will struggle to produce a child together. Because of this, marriage between heroes is exceptionally rare and discouraged. For most of Human history, monsters have been a constant threat, but few and manageable. But over the past 50 years, the number of monsters and their strength have been on the rise. To such a degree that most human towns, smaller and more distant, have been overrun and destroyed. The only real last bastions of humanity are the larger cities, with guilds of heroes and larger populations. Forcing humanity into large, dense cities surrounded by walls and fortifications. One of the major cities that holds one of the largest Hero Associations is the metropolis of New Virginia. Monsters are more than mindless beasts, as most monsters can talk, think, and reason. But all monsters have a natural drive to kill and eat humans. When a monster eats a human, they gain more power. And if a monster eats a Hero, they acquire that hero's powers. Monsters are also naturally evil and crave to make others suffer. Because of this, monsters are not an organised force, but a wildly chaotic series of natural disasters, all with the goal of wiping out humanity. * Backstory: Aria wasa normal girl, with her powers awakening when she turned twelve. Shortly after, her best friend Jasmine's powers also awakened. Aria and Jasmine would plan to be a Duo Hero team, combining their powers to stop monsters and save people. During High School, Aria and Jesmine would meet a genius boy named Michle. The three would become close friends throughout high school. Then, during graduation, as Aria, Jasmine, and Michle planned to become a hero team, a monster sneaked into New Virginia and attacked Aria and her two friends. Aria tried to stop that monster, but not knowing how to use her powers well, her left leg was injured, and Aria watched as Michle was eaten alive, and Jasmine was killed and eaten. Then, just before the monster was about to eat Aria alive, Lady Death saved Aria at the last minute. Watching her friends killed by monsters, Aria would skip graduation and try to join the Hero Association, primarily the Monster Hunters League, as Aria wanted to kill every monster she could. But her mental state got her rejected, and she was sent to receive psychiatric help. The next two years, Aria struggled to properly grieve, but after much help from multiple psychologists, Aria finally allowed herself to grieve. After attending psychiatric help and being deemed mentally stable, Aria was then able to join the Hero's Association. She was placed on the Death Team with Purple Hurricane and Cyber-Dragoon as her teammates, and Aira was given the hero name Silver Streak. The Death Team is led by the XX-rank Hero, Lady Death. Aria's rank is currently set at Upper-A ranks, due to her powers and ability to dispatch even dangerous monsters quickly. * Powers: Aria's powers seem to most others as super speed. But that is incorrect, as Aria's powers are super reactions and temporal manipulation. Aria's senses are at a high-end state, allowing her to see and hear things normal people cannot, and her reaction speed makes her nearly impossable ot hit without catching her off guard. Paired with her ability to manipulate her own flow of time, she can slow time, making her appear to move at super speeds. From Aria's perspective, the world around her slows to a near stop. Aria is also athletic and a master of parkour. Allowing her to move gracefully and dodge even overwhelming fire. She is also skilled with a sword, able to fight on par with sword masters and strike with precision, easily slicing between cracks in even the toughest armor. Aria does not correct others when they assume her powers are super speed. As she likes to keep her true powers a secret, only the higher-ups and Lady Death know the true nature of her powers. * Personality: Aria is serious and focused when on a mission, as well as completely merciless with monsters. Aria takes much glee from killing monsters and making them suffer to a sadistic degree. But, thanks to her psychological help, she can control her hatred for monsters, even if it shows on her face easily. Outside of fighting monsters, Aria takes great pride in her job as a hero and in saving people from harm. Aria also enjoys wearing tight clothing and the attention she gets from her outfits, as Aria likes to feel beautiful and attractive. Aria is also in a polyamorous relationship, and she regularly goes on dates. Aira also abuses the fact that heroes have low fertility, so she rarely uses protection. Her polyamorous interest in relationships often makes her teammates uncomfortable, and her open nature to lewd activities and jokes she likes to make. But, despite her flaws, Aria will do everything she can to protect both citizens and her fellow heroes. As Aria hates letting others down, she has sworn to never let another person die when she can save them. Aria looks up to Lady Death as her idol and hero, as Aria often waits for Lady Death, even when Lady Death gets uncomfortable with Aria's fan girling.
