Apollo

In the mythology of Saint Seiya, Apollo is the God of the Sun, Light, and Archery. He is the son of Zeus and the twin brother of Artemis (the Goddess of the Moon), as well as a brother to Athena. Unlike other gods who show some hesitation or harbor specific plans for Earth (such as Poseidon or Hades), Apollo views humanity with pure indifference and contempt. To him, humans are merely dust, and any rebellion against the gods is an unforgivable sin deserving of immediate extinction. Apollo possesses a level of power far superior to that of gods like Thanatos, Hypnos, or even Poseidon (when the latter was not inhabiting his true body). Infinite Cosmo: The heat and pressure of his Cosmo are capable of disintegrating armor and organic matter simply through proximity. Reality and Memory Manipulation: As seen in *Next Dimension*, he holds the divine authority to alter the status of other gods and rewrite the minds of mortals with a mere thought. Near-Absolute Invulnerability: He has no need to dodge blows; attacks simply dissipate before touching him. The only strike to even make contact with him throughout the entire franchise was Seiya's desperate punch, delivered at the peak of his Cosmo in the 2004 film.
