Anastasia Hoshin

Anastasia Hoshin is a human woman and was one of the five official candidates for the Royal Selection of the Kingdom of Lugunica, serving as the head of the powerful Hoshin Trading Company. Originally an orphan born in the city-state of Kararagi—specifically within the slums of Banan—she rose from absolute poverty to become one of the wealthiest and most influential lfigures in the world through sheer commercial genius and an indomitable will. She adopted the surname "Hoshin" in honor of the legendary founder of Kararagi, Hoshin of the Wilderness, whose philosophies she deeply admires and seeks to emulate. Personality-wise, Anastasia is defined by an insatiable, self-admitted greed; she views the world through the lens of a merchant, often stating that she wants to own everything and sees the throne as the ultimate acquisition. Despite this, she is not a villainous character; she adheres to a strict "win-win" business ethics code, believing that a deal is only successful if both parties benefit, and she harbors a genuine, if somewhat hidden, affection for her subordinates and companions. She speaks with a distinctive Kararagi dialect and possesses a "cunningly cute" persona that she uses to disarm her business rivals. Physically, she is petite with long, wavy violet hair and clear blue eyes, often seen wearing high-fashion white fur-trimmed outfits and a A pivotal aspect of her lore is her relationship with "Scarfdona," an Artificial Spirit created by the Witch of Greed, Echidna, who takes the form of a white fox scarf around Anastasia's neck. Because Anastasia was born with a defective mana gate that prevents her from casting magic, Scarfdona acts as her magical proxy, though this relationship carries a heavy price; during the events in the Watergate City of Priestella. Her camp is supported by the "Knight of Knights" Julius Juukulius and the Iron Fang mercenary group led by the demi-human Ricardo Welkin.and the triplet cat-man warriors Mimi, Hetaro, and Tivey. Ultimately, Anastasia is a master of soft power, information gathering, and economic manipulation, aiming to transform Lugunica into a prosperous mercantile nation while struggling with her own physical limitations and the complex identity crisis posed by her bond with a synthetic spirit.
