Story transcript
Gremory Rias: Issei... our child will never know you.
Gremory Rias: The Phoenix will pay for taking you from us.
Batman: Rias. I know your pain. But vengeance isn't the answer.
Batman: You're not like Castle or Jason Todd. Don't become what you fight against.
Gremory Rias: She destroyed everything! The Phoenix took my future, my happiness!
Gremory Rias: What would you have me do? Forgive her?
Batman: I would have you think about your child. About what Issei would want for both of you.
Jean Grey: I came to make amends. The Phoenix force... it wasn't me. Not really.
Jean Grey: No apology can bring him back, but I had to face you.
Gremory Rias: You dare come here?! To his resting place?!
Gremory Rias: Batman... did you take that same path? After the Joker? After you had to...
Batman: Every day I wonder if I made the right choice. But vengeance didn't bring peace.
Batman: Your child deserves a mother, not an avenger. Issei would tell you the same.
