Story transcript

Vergil: The Yamato responds to demonic blood. Tonight, I'll test whose blood runs stronger.

Dante: Funny how you always pick abandoned temples for family reunions. Couldn't spring for a nice restaurant?

Lady: (The bounty on both brothers. If I time this right...) I could have a great shot

Dante: Let's make this interesting. First one to draw human blood loses.

Trish: Or perhaps the first one to realize they're fighting the wrong enemy?

Vergil: (This isn't Dante's blood on my blade... it's mine.)

Dante: Told you we should've gone with that restaurant. The service here is killer.

Lady: (Three? Since when were there three Sparda sons?)

Vergil: These seals... they're older than the temple itself. Father's handwriting.

Dante: Well, this family reunion just got bigger. Who's the new kid in dad's basement?

Trish: The seals were never meant to hold demons. They were meant to hold family.

Lady: (The bounty files never mentioned a third brother. This changes everything.)

Dante: Hey now, let's not be hasty. Maybe we can talk about this like civilized—

Vergil: (Those eyes... mother's eyes. But the power... it's consuming the Yamato's resonance.)

Trish: I am not your sibling. I am what Sparda became when he tried to atone. The part he cut away and buried.

Dante: (The demon blood... it's being suppressed. This isn't just any seal—it's a human trap.)

Lady: Three Sparda sons, one bounty. Business just picked up.

Lady: (The reflection moves independently... that's not a mirror.)

Lady: You're not me. What are you?

Lady: Three bounties, one bullet. Who dies first?

Lady: The demon, the half-breed, or the human who hunts them for money?

Lady: (It's reading my thoughts. Every hesitation, every doubt.)

Lady: Start with the weakest. The human who's already bleeding.

Lady: (The blood... it's mine. When did—)

Dante: Hey Lady! Duck! This family reunion just got crashed by the black sheep!

Lady: (The reflection wasn't the enemy. It was warning me.)

Dante: Well sis, looks like we found the fourth Sparda. The one dad erased from every record.

Vergil: (The Yamato... it's fighting me. Mother's voice... from my own shadow?)

Dante: Vergil! Drop the blade! It's not yours anymore!

Vergil: (I can't stop it—something's pulling the Yamato through me!)

Lady: The floor... it's opening like a mouth. Those aren't shadows—those are teeth!

Trish: The seal wasn't holding a demon. It was holding a mother. Your mother.

Vergil: (Mother's face... but wrong. So wrong. Those aren't tears—those are shadows.)

Dante: Dad didn't seal a demon in here. He sealed mom... and she's been feeding on Vergil's humanity this whole time.

Lady: (The bounty was never for the Sparda brothers. It was for their mother. And I just woke her up.)

Vergil: Mother? But you died... you died protecting us...

Trish: That's not Eva. That's what Eva became when Sparda tried to cut the humanity out of her. The fourth Sparda wasn't a son—it was a wife.
