Takanashi Kiara: I finally made it to Phoenix, Arizona! The city named after ME!
Takanashi Kiara: Or well, named after my species at least! Kikkeriki~!
Pauline: Welcome to Phoenix! As a fellow mayor, it's my pleasure to show you around while I'm visiting from New Donk City.
Pauline: We've planned a special tour for such a distinguished visitor!
Takanashi Kiara: So hot! Even for a phoenix, this is intense!
Takanashi Kiara: I'm used to rising from ashes, not becoming them!
Pauline: These iconic saguaro cacti can live for 150-200 years and are native to the Sonoran Desert.
Pauline: Much younger than you, I imagine, if phoenixes are truly immortal.
Mori Calliope: Kiara?! What are you doing in Phoenix? I'm here on reaper business!
Mori Calliope: The heat here is causing a lot of, um, paperwork for the underworld.
Takanashi Kiara: CALLI! It's fate that brought us together in my namesake city!
Takanashi Kiara: You MUST join our tour! I won't take no for an answer!
Pauline: I suppose our tour group just grew by one. Next stop is Camelback Mountain!
Pauline: Though I must say, this is quite different from giving Mario tours of New Donk City.
Mori Calliope: I came to collect souls, not go sightseeing...
Mori Calliope: But I guess Phoenix is technically Kiara's turf. My death statistics are way off now.
