Naruto: Then make it official! I'll marry Gaara!
Gaara: You could've asked me privately. I might've enjoyed saying yes.
Naruto: Wait. You actually said yes?
Gaara: You looked handsome when you panicked.
Naruto: Like this?
Gaara: Closer. You're supposed to look in love.
Naruto: Gaara, darling, smile!
Gaara: You keep calling me darling. Are you rehearsing or confessing?
Gaara: They trust what they can see. I trust you.
Naruto: Then keep looking at me. I clean up nicely in moonlight.
Gaara: Once the treaty is signed, the engagement ends. I should stop flirting before he mistakes it for a promise.
Naruto: Ends? After all that flirting?
Naruto: Was any of it real, or were you just trying to make me blush?
Gaara: The arrangement was temporary. My interest in you was not.
Naruto: I don't want temporary. I want Gaara. And he keeps flirting with me, so this is partly his fault.
Gaara: You finally said it.
Naruto: You had the marriage papers ready?!
Gaara: I had faith in your timing. And your taste.
