Story transcript
Akane: Found you.
Aqua: Akane.
Akane: You're surprisingly calm.
Aqua: I've had two days to think.
Akane: Two days isn't nearly enough.
Akane: You told me what happened.
Akane: Not what you were thinking.
Akane: Tell me.
Akane: You were planning to die alongside Hikaru.
Aqua: Yes.
Akane: You nearly died, Aqua.
Aqua: I know.
Akane: You made Ruby lose you.
Aqua: Thank you for saving Ruby.
Aqua: Ruby is alive because you and Ichigo were there.
Akane: Don't change the subject.
Aqua: I thought maybe Hikaru was right about me.
Aqua: That I'm like him.
Akane: No.
Akane: You made terrible choices. But that doesn't make you Hikaru.
Aqua: I still killed him.
Akane: You were willing to sacrifice yourself, not everyone else.
Akane: Your life can't only have value when you spend it protecting someone else.
Aqua: I don't want to decide everything alone anymore.
Aqua: Hopefully, we can build an equal relationship.
Akane: That sounds like a good start.
Akane: One more thing.
Aqua: What?
Akane: Don't die.
Aqua: You've said that already.
Akane: I'll keep saying it.
Aqua: Fine.
