Story transcript

Aris: (What... what happened to my legs?!)

Momoi: Aris! We heard you scream--

Midori: Let me see if I can help--

Momoi: (No no no, this can't be happening!)

Midori: The program... it says "Mermaid Curse Protocol: Irreversible"

Aris: (There has to be a way to reverse this... wait, the screen just changed)

Aris: The next phase... "Ocean Integration Complete in 3... 2... 1..."

Momoi: (Why is there water everywhere? We should be drowning but...)

Yuuka: What the hell happened here? The entire lab is underwater!

Aris: (Yuuka... please don't touch our tails...)

Yuuka: Is this... real? Those scales look so detailed...

Aris: No! Don't touch--

Yuuka: (What... what is happening to my body?!)

Momoi: The screen changed! It's showing a new message...

Midori: "Synchronization complete. Four mermaids detected. Ocean Protocol activation in progress..."

Yuuka: (I can breathe underwater... and these scales feel... permanent...)
