Samus Aran: Snake? Snake, are you okay?
Samus Aran: You were having another nightmare...
Solid Snake: What? Where am I?
Solid Snake: (The nightmares are getting worse... always the same faces...)
Samus Aran: Snake, I need to tell you something important. I'm... I'm pregnant.
Samus Aran: We're going to have a child. Our child.
Solid Snake: A child? Samus, you know what I am... what they made me.
Solid Snake: Even love was made on the battlefield.
Solid Snake: This puts us both at risk. The Patriots will come after us.
Solid Snake: Even my father... Big Boss would see this as a threat.
Samus Aran: I've faced Space Pirates, Metroids, and Ridley himself.
Samus Aran: Your Patriots don't scare me, Snake. We protect our own.
Solid Snake: You're right. We've both survived impossible odds before.
Solid Snake: (For the first time... I have something worth fighting for beyond the mission.)
Samus Aran: Besides, between your stealth and my Power Suit... I'd like to see them try.
Samus Aran: Our child will have quite the genetic inheritance, don't you think?
