Ouro Kronii: Another millennium passes... and humanity continues to squabble over their fleeting moments.
Ouro Kronii: They have no idea what eternity truly means.
Ouro Kronii: I watch their empires rise and fall like waves upon the shore...
Ouro Kronii: (Sometimes I wonder if they even appreciate the gift of limited time.)
Ouro Kronii: Perfect, immaculate chronology maintained by yours truly. You're welcome, universe.
Ouro Kronii: Though I wouldn't mind a vacation. Just a century or two...
Ouro Kronii: Who would I even be without this duty?
Ouro Kronii: (Is there a version of me that's free to just... exist?)
Ouro Kronii: The others have their domains, their purposes... but they don't understand what it means to bear the weight of every second.
Ouro Kronii: At least you little ones keep me company. Constant, predictable... unlike those humans.
Ouro Kronii: Though I suppose their unpredictability is what makes watching them somewhat entertaining.
Ouro Kronii: Until someone worthy takes my place, I'll continue. Time waits for no one... except, ironically, for me.
Ouro Kronii: (Perhaps that's the greatest irony of all... I control time, yet I have none to call my own.)
