Inutade: (Whimpers weakly, body trembling with fever)
Marcille: The poor creature's temperature is dangerously high. This isn't a typical monster ailment.
Marcille: I've seen something similar in cave basilisks... I might be able to prepare something.
Chilchuck: My village elder taught me about treating fevers with these herbs. They work on monsters too, I've used them before.
Marcille: The secretion from these dungeon mushrooms, combined with red basilisk liver... It should counteract the infection!
Marcille: Trust me, I've studied monster physiology extensively through cooking. This will purge whatever is causing the fever.
Chilchuck: Are you insane? That concoction might kill Inutade! We should use proven remedies, not experimental cuisine!
Chilchuck: Your cooking is one thing, but medicine is another. These herbs have helped my people for generations.
Inutade: (Lets out a pained whine, condition visibly deteriorating)
Marcille: Perhaps... we're both partly right. Your herbs could help stabilize the fever while my mixture targets the underlying cause.
Marcille: Like a good dish needs both bold flavors and balanced elements, maybe our approaches should complement each other.
Chilchuck: Fine, but let's reduce the basilisk liver by half. I'll add these fever-reducing herbs, and we'll make a poultice with the mushroom extract rather than having Inutade ingest it directly.
Chilchuck: This way we get the benefits without the risks. Teamwork, right?
Inutade: (Breathing becomes steadier, eyes clearer as the combined remedy takes effect)
