Story transcript

Demon lord Murasaki: Another rebellion? How tiresome. Don't you peasants have anything better to do?

Anko: We're not peasants! We're the rightful rulers of this kingdom!

Torako: Technically, Anko, we're actually-

Anko: NOT NOW, TORAKO!

Demon lord Murasaki: Oh? And what makes you think you can dethrone a demon lord magical girl?

Demon lord Murasaki: Do you even know what I am?

Noko: SORRY! My horns got tangled in your hair!

Anko: This is NOT how rebellions are supposed to go!

Torako: According to the ancient laws of succession, anyone who defeats the current ruler in a contest of their choosing may claim the throne!

Demon lord Murasaki: A contest, you say? How delightfully... unpredictable.

Anko: Name your challenge, demon lord!

Demon lord Murasaki: I choose... competitive magical girl card game tournament! Best three out of five!

Anko: BUT I DON'T EVEN KNOW THE RULES TO THIS FANTASY WORLD'S TRADING CARD GAMES!
